Decent system

 

I wanted a full surround system but my wife did not want the speakers on the wall. The system is definately worth the money.

Easy to setup, clear sound, loud without distorting, and gui is easy to navigate

sub has to be near the sound bar due to the speaker wires being proprietary

Happy New Egg Customer

 

Very happy with service and delivery was 24 hours from completion of transaction. Input devices are TV,PC,360,PS3 HDMI connected and select them all through the remote control

Takes a couple of seconds for the sound to come on when changing input devices. Sometimes I have to press the remote control buttons twice to do a selection

Added to a 46" Sony Wega

 

I'm intrigued with all of the options possible between the DMPort, and using some of the other multimedia receiver controls of the Sony sound brick. It will be fun to play with particularly as I move components over to HDMI over time. It has improved...

Had some struggle on where to locate the sound bar. Ended-up putting it on top of the TV using a wide strip of Velcro. Stable and unabtrusive. Sound quality is solid. The provided remote works with all my devices so that's promising. I have it set up...

Not really a con, but it took me a while to realize that you don't use the TV sound with the new equipment (rtm :D). It causes an echo effect. Turn the TV sound down, and all is good ; I find the GUI awkward... have to tune the TV to the HDMI input...

How Can I ?

 

Second time this issue has happened with an order from NewEgg. Do they oversell "on sale" items then conveniently "lose" them in transit. UPS says the item never actually got scanned at origin although NE says it did. Regardless, I received a full...

This is not a rating on the actual product. I've heard this is an awesome sound system for the price. Never found out. Shipment never made it to my door

Was the shipment lost or was the package ever shipped??? Probably will never get that question answered

Let me tell you a story to finish off - my wife it was who wanted "a sound" in the house but I did the research, settling on this unit. She and my son were disappointed as they were looking to see a visible "surround sound" with many speakers....

No wiring to back of room, easy to place sub-woofer (on the ground wedged to the right of the electronics cabinet and the wall). Sound bar same length as TV (42" Phillips) so a nice match-up, also same color. Nice looking ; Flexible connections. No...

Remote does not control other than Sony devices so I suffer from remote clutter (have only one Sony PS3 otherwise, and so I apparently cannot take advantage of Bravia Sync, or Phillips EasyLink for that matter) ; Unit does not return to standby on ts...

Goede geluidskwaliteit - geen dradenrommel door je huis ; Afstandsbediening van soundbar en tv werken goed met elkaar. ; Geluidskwaliteit is zeer veel beter dan die van de TV - wat dat betreft een aanrader
