Scanner is not up to the mark

If you want an excellent printer (quality and cost wise), capable copier, and don't mind sub par scanning, this printer is a good buy.

Really fast, i was not excpecting it to be this fast. I think they really do mean 30PPM. Addon tray option, toner is priced decently

Needed to download a Vista printing driver - print works flawlessly but the Paperport scanning software doesn't work with Vista

While this unit is not extremely fast for printing or scanning, it is very durable and reliable. We now have 4 of these, 3 at satellite offices and one in the main office. It has all the software features of the $20,000 Kyocera and Gestetner units....

Sometimes the scanning slows down for no apparent reason. Not often, and not on all units, maybe once a month or so. A power cycle seems to resolve the issue

Haven't been using it very long but so far I am impressed. Scan to Word is much better than having used OmniPage with my old multifunction. The bundled software is converts very quickly and accurately. What the future brings, we will see
