Our first toaster had to be returned as one of the buttons didn't press down properly, but John Lewis exchanged it quickly and without fuss and we've had no problems with the second toaster. Very happy with it and it looks great in our kitchen!

Looks great and buttons feel solid enough. However, it's only deep enough to toast 2/3 of the bread! Also the mechanism doesn't raise high enough to retrieve crumpets etc without touching the hot edges. And to top things off, it toasts fine on one side...
