Somewhat Lacking - Will Keep Looking

 

I bought this oven one month ago from Bed Bath & Beyond. A big selling point was the sales person's statement that it was their best seller with no returns-so far. I also liked the black and steel exterior with modern styling and the knob...

Very attractive, modern exterior and almost the perfect size. Knobs that made sense

Temperatures off. Inside dimensions smaller than most 4-slice ovens. Poor rack fit. Poor

after 2.5 years of ownership my "toast shade selector" broke. i was surprised to find it was plastic?? called the company at the 800# listed in the instrux manual - they wanted $17 which included shipping for the part (oh wow whatta...

I had a Black and Decker toaster oven, probably manufactured in the late 1970's. It was small but worked very well. Eventually, after a good 20 years of use, the control for making toast broke and would not lock in place. It was replaced with an Oster...

After many years of owning, first the GE and then the Black & Decker Toast-r-Ovens, I recently purchased the TR0700. After a week, I have now cleaned the old B&D that was retired to the basement because it looked tired and have replaced the new one...

None that I can think of

It looks newer than my old one

The Absolute Worst .......take my word for it!!!!!!

 

What a mistake this purchase was....DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT MAKING A PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT. I purchased the first one in October '06 and it broke down within 4 weeks. Took it back to where I purchased it and they gave me a replacement and also...

Toaster/Timer knob breaks

 

When the toaster knob broke on my 1st oven I called the warranty replacement company & they sent me a new oven 2 weeks after I filled out forms & sent $8 check for postage. Had 2nd oven 1 month & it broke. Save yourself a headache & buy the Krupps!

Oven is nice to look at, but form does NOT replace function

Cheap plastic knobs used to turn metal interior parts break after a few uses

I purchased the TRO700 Toaster Oven about a month ago. I used it 3 times and the toasting knob broke off. I e-mailed Black & Decker and they never e-mailed me back. They obviously know that their product is inferior or they would have gotten back to...

NONE

Breaks after 3 uses and they don't contact you when you e-mail them
