Not a real recording option

 

If you're looking for a portable camera to record quality memories, the EZ1000 is not what you want. If you want a camcorder, get a camcorder. If you want a small portable camcorder, get a decent quality camera that doesn't cost much more than this....

I was lucky enough to get the EZ1000 free. Thought I would pass on a review. Portable and light enough to carry in a chest pocket. Flip out display for recording yourself and *actually* see what you're recording ; Giving it 2 eggs because it DOES do...

Lightweight, flimsy feeling. Even in HQ mode, the video quality is pixellated, washed out, and comparable to any cheap webcam, and really breaks down after 10-15 feet away. Photo quality is the same ; Uses batteries. When plugged into USB to transfer...

Ideal if quality is not of value

 

It died on me in like 7 months, and the video quality was never very good.

Cheap

Cheap. It's a terror trying to get videos off of this thing. The proprietary software does let you upload directly to Youtube, but it does so in a very awkward manner. Short battery life, and then you have to pop in new alkalines

Good Carmera

 

This is a great little camera. My 8 year old loves it! It is easy to use and takes pretty clear videos. The only thing I would like is better sound, but we are still tinkering! But for a 8 year old to create a video diary for her baby brother it is...
