Brother ImageCenter ADS-2000e

The Brother ImageCenter ADS-2000e is a capable, reliable, and affordable entry-level document scanner that comes with an excellent software package.

Inexpensive. Fast scanning and text recognition for the price. Accurate OCR. Supports scanning to USB thumb drives. Includes lots of powerful software.

Slower than some competing scanners when saving to searchable PDF. No Wi-Fi support. Rare multipage paper jams in testing.

The Brother ImageCenter ADS-2000e created and saved searchable PDFs a bit slower than both the Canon DR-C225 and the Fujitsu iX500, but it also costs less. And it allows you to scan to flash memory via a built-in USB port. Unlike the Fujitsu model,...
