Sony's Z-Series TV offers a rich set of Internet goodies from Netflix to Yahoo Widgets and video podcasts.

Spectacular contrast ratio. Buttery-smooth 240-Hz refresh rate banishes judder and blur. Excellent universal remote with dedicated buttons for web content

Some noticeable artifacts when upconverting SD video. Streaming video limited to MPEG-2; no AAC support

Sony Bravia KDL-46Z5100

 

Sony's 46-inch KDL-46Z5100 has excellent streaming multimedia features, but some of this LCD HDTV's critical picture quality optimizations are left up to the owner.

Excellent picture contrast. Internet and network multimedia streaming. 240-Hz display technology.

Poorly optimized cinema picture preset. Majority of HD-compatible ports on side of TV.

Gracias a sus100000:1 de contraste y a la tecnología Motionflow 120Hz, esta pantalla te da una mayor nitidez a la par que elimina imágenes fantasma. Además, cuenta con múltiples entradas (conecta todo lo que quieras a tu televisor)

Las imágenes oscuras tienden a verse azules. No cuenta con conexión a Internet

Ideal para los usuarios que, además de una buena calidad de imagen, buscan un equipo con conexiones múltiples, incluyendo Internet. Además, gracias a su tecnología ACE, retoca tus fotografías.

Very Nice LCD TV, Good Value

 

This is a very nice LCD TV for the price. I had an opportunity to see the Samsung 8500 and Sony XBR8; they are definitely better, however they are 3 times more expensive. I will probably buy the XBR8 or one of the newer units this summer and retire...
